Purchased the Magnaflow 91004 Universal Catalytic Converter through Amazon. Had the converter in use for approximately 1 1/2 years. It is internally raddlinging,
contacted the manufacturer who advised it was under warranty. They advised you must return it through the originally seller. I advised them it was Amazon, the quote was " I guess your out of luck". Contact with Amazon, they don't have any provision for this. Forget about warrants when you buying something from Amazon.
Even though description lists the warrant.
Bought this cat for my Porsche 944 with alot of doubt. Installation was fairly simple with the purchase of a few adapters and muffler clamps. It went through emissions with flying colors. At a dealership this repair would have cost around $1200.00 minimum, total cost for me was about $50.00 as I took advantage of a returned/like new item.
